I provide jewelry accessories with a distinctive twist to women of all ages and walks of life. My customers are pleased with the craftsmanship and unique style of the individual pieces and how they complement their own sense of flair.

I grew up in a family with artistic ability in music and the arts. As a classically trained musician, I always enjoyed expressing myself creatively with my hands. Designing and making jewelry was a natural step I pursued as an outlet from the intense focus required in my day–to-day work. Simple beaded jewelry quickly progressed to more complex and detailed Chainmaille jewelry and wrapped gemstone pieces. Retiring from my primary position as a Music Director has allowed me to focus on developing my skills and creating my own home based  business.

I have been in business for four years with my good friend and business partner Caroline, who handles all the accounting and website activities.  I am well known in the local arts and business communities and as a Juried Member Artist I often display at the gallery and other artisan venues. As my interests in creating unique jewelry grow I seek to improve and advance my skills through personal research and instruction from local artists and masters. I am currently under the tutelage of Ann Turpin Thayer, Master Wire Wrapper and artist, to further my technique in wire wrapping gemstones and fashioning wire jewelry. She is my challenge and support in an ancient art form, and a good friend.

As a mother of four daughters (ages 17 to 23) I am constantly exposed to their ever changing tastes in style and fashion from “grunge” to prom, tattoos to tiaras. They are a dependable source of experiment and inspiration to me. Then of course there are my friends, both women and men, who infuse me with their mature tastes and sometimes crazy ideas as well. To me it is an exciting mix of new concepts and old patterns, fresh ideas and tried-and-true habits. It never becomes boring or stale as I try varied approaches in different ways.
